PRINCIPLES AND GODLINESS In the course of living, I have seen people who have lived and are living. Some are living life to the fullest, while others are living below average or merely existing. I tried to investigate the reasons behind these types of living and what I found out is what I would share with you below. The first sets of persons I discovered were those that live by certain principles. They dig out principles concerning certain endeavors and live by them and guess what... they become super successful in those endeavors irrespective of what they believe in (as per religion or faith). The thing about principles is that they are Divine blue prints guiding endeavors and the Almighty respects them and rewards those that live by them. That accounts for why some are super rich or successful with little or no knowledge of God(experience). Secondly, on a higher level is Godliness. What is Godliness? TALENTS Hello. In my devotion this morning, I came across some powerful lessons about talents of which I feel would bless someone out there if shared. The lessons are these: Talents are given according to individual's capacity: the level of your talent is determined by the level of your ability. Everyone is talented: there is no one that is not given talents. (Meaning that we all are talented) The essence of talent: God in His infinite wisdom has endowed us with talents both for profits and sustenance. Talents used become profitable: profit is inevitable when talent is used and it becomes the other way round if it isn't used. It is meant to be traded with and not kept as a décor. Talent is given as a trust: we are all are stewards on earth and so have been given talents by the Creator as a trust and it is expected by Him that we make good use of it/them. Be deliberate about your life. The whole essence of working is to have something(i.e seeds) to meet people's needs and it is in your giving (i.e sowing) to meet those needs that you are sustained (i.e harvest). YOU ARE SUSTAINED BY GIVING. If you sow, you have every right to place demands for your harvest. In every provision or blessing there are in it seed and bread. The seed is for sowing to meet future needs, while the bread is to satisfy today's needs/wants. Every seed has embedded in it a command and a blessing to increase, multiply and increase. Hello there. It's a new month again and a lot of us have aspirations we hope to see its fruition this month. As we are going about trying to get things done   in the year TRAVEL LITE. It is very important to travel through life lite or else you wouldn't get anything done. Don't bite more than you can chew. I know that many of us have read lots of motivational books to the point that we all fired up to take on things bigger than us, as a matter of fact I also have read lots of motivational books too, but I realised that there is a disconnect between what is written and what is practicable. The disconnect is capacity. It is good to be ambitious. It is good to THINK BIG, but be realistic in your ambitions. Here is my take, beyond all the feeling too motivated, be human, be realistic and build your capacity. If you don't have the capacity to take on that task, increase your capacity first so you don't end up crashing upon your ambitions. Don't carry ...
