Lessons about talents
TALENTS
Hello.
In my devotion this morning, I came across some powerful lessons about talents of which I feel would bless someone out there if shared.
In my devotion this morning, I came across some powerful lessons about talents of which I feel would bless someone out there if shared.
The lessons are these:
Talents are given according to individual's capacity: the level of your talent is determined by the level of your ability.
Talents are given according to individual's capacity: the level of your talent is determined by the level of your ability.
Everyone is talented: there is no one that is not given talents. (Meaning that we all are talented)
The essence of talent: God in His infinite wisdom has endowed us with talents both for profits and sustenance.
Talents used become profitable: profit is inevitable when talent is used and it becomes the other way round if it isn't used. It is meant to be traded with and not kept as a décor.
Talent is given as a trust: we are all are stewards on earth and so have been given talents by the Creator as a trust and it is expected by Him that we make good use of it/them.
You are accountable for your talents: no one other than you would be held responsible for your talents. You will also give account to God for the talents He gave to you.
Consequences of talents used/not used: profitable use of your talents will attract the Giver's commendation and honour, but lack of use of talent will attract condemnation and withdrawal of talents given to you. The character of the Giver of those talents don't matter, what counts is your choice and decision to use those talents or not.
Profitable servants will earn more: this is the secret behind the rich getting richer. They have mastered the art of making profitable use of their talents. The more you trade your talents the more profits you get and the richer you become.
Dangers of fear: fear stops you from launching your talents, but does not prevent or shield you from the consequences of doing so. You become poorer and wretched when you allow fear to hinder you from making use of your talents.
The higher your talents the greater your profits. To earn more, deploy more talents.
It is wickedness not to deploy your talents as you are depriving others of the benefits embedded in your talents.
NB: if for any reason you can't deploy those talents of yours, please release them to those who can, so you don't face condemnation.
One sure way of transiting from poverty and shame into the place of prosperity and fame is to profitably use your talents.
Thanks for your time.
