Be Generous

BE GENEROUS

I know some or most of you are  familiar with the word generosity. The question is this, are you generous?

I know we are in an economic state where being generous is perceived to be stupidity especially by economist. Due to the hardship that seem to exist, the normal reaction to this situation would be to hold on to whatever is it you have and only release it when it is extremely necessary, as being generous is perceived to be a factor that could lead to poverty or lack to the human mind.

Though the above might seem to be true base on scientific proofs, on the flip side is the part of faith in other words, the part of the spiritual that states that the more you give, the more you receive.

The Almighty in His abundance nature has given us all things to enjoy, but beyond that, He has deposited in us more than enough so that we can bless others.

Let me further break it down...

The secret of having and living in abundance is  generosity. The Holy book states that "the generous soul shall be made fat" meaning that, a person that is generous will have in abundance or increase.

So many persons think that, it is only when they have in abundance or have more than they need that they can give out, but it is not true. You are to give out of what you have.

Like I said earlier, the Almighty has deposited in us all we need to live in abundance and to also be a conduit of gifts to others. In view of the afore statement, no matter your level in life, you have something to give, you have things like a smile, words of encouragement, your expertise,  and the host of others at your disposal to bless someone.

Your waking thoughts should be to be to put a smile on someone's face through the act of generosity. In fact, doing something for someone should be on your TO DO LIST.

Beyond making money as your motive for doing business, being generous should also be part of your motive.

Generosity is the pathway to greatness and living in abundance. Generosity make the world go round. Be Generous.
