Know Thyself

Hello there.

I'm glad we made it successfully into the new year and this year promises to be an amazing year because like every other year it is filled with great potentials if properly harnessed.

I entered the year with some thoughts very heavy on my mind and I would like to share one of it with you today knowing that it may help someone out there. Happy reading.

Today, I would be sharing with you on DISCOVERING YOURSELF. What you don't know you don't harness and what you don't harness, you don't enjoy its benefits. 

It is only what you know about yourself that you pursue and what you pursue goes a long way to making your life what it becomes be it positive or negative.

To further help you understand this, let's start by understanding what it means to discover yourself. It simply means to know who you are, what you carry and why you are on earth and the questions that will help you solve this are:

Who am I?

Why am I here?

What was I put on earth for?

What do I carry?

Supplying honest answers to these questions would help you fully understand and discover who you are and that would affect everything about you.

Self discovery would lead to purpose discovery and purpose discovery would eventually lead to life transformation from living anyhow to deliberate living.

Most of us live lives base on the dictates of fate but by creation we aren't wired that way, we were wired to dictate the fate of our lives and that can easily be achieved through self discovery. Purposeful is organized living.

The cure to average living, the antidote to poverty and the medicine to low self esteem is self discovery. You cannot be bigger than what you know about yourself.

Let me give you an idea of who you were created to be. You were created to dominate, increase, multiply and replenish the earth, that's who you are suppose to be and anything short of this is living below standard and Divine order. The key to harnessing the aforementioned is self discovery. 

Self discovery takes intentional and deliberate efforts to enquire. 

Lack of self discovery on the other hand is disastrous and living a life of mediocrity and a life that flows with the tide instead of dictating the direction of the tide. It can also be liken to someone in whose name was stored up huge sums of money in the bank for him or her to live comfortably and the documents kept in his or her pockets. Unfortunately for him or her hence he is not the type that checks his or her pockets before taking his or her clothes for laundry, he or she lives a life of abject poverty and limitations. The day he or she decides to do something different by checking those pockets, that day he or she would have a new discovery and that discovery will change his or her life henceforth. Self discovery equals life transformation.

Permit me to pause at this juncture and say that the greatest discovery you can have is discovering your Maker first. Knowing Him equates knowing you. Knowing Him helps you to know who you are, what He has deposited in you and why you are on earth. He created you and so have plans for you and the only way to know your purpose is to know Him. To know Him implies that You make Him the Lord of your life and asking Him what He wants you to do. Knowing Him and making Him your Guide in life makes the journey of this year and your life smooth and with a sure destination which is success.

Don't float with the tides and with fate, dictate the tide and fate, DISCOVER YOURSELF.

The day you discover yourself, you begin to live and you begin a journey to success and the top.
