One door you must force open and one barrier you must do everything to overcome is VALIDATION. The reason many have not been able to sing those songs, write those best selling books, seek for that admission, take up that course, launch that business, etc is that they are seeking for validation by those they perceive are better than them. However, what you fail to realise is that the idea and dream belongs to you and only you are in a better position to birth it exactly as you have received it and waiting for validation may distort the idea or dream. Don't let waiting for validation stop you from launching out. The worst that can happen is for you to fail when you launch out and failure the last time I checked is not the end of the world. There opportunities to be utilized and territories to be conquered and remaining static might hinder you from accomplishing them. That you failed yesterday doesn't mean you can't succeed today or tomorrow. That you recorded success in one area should not make you stop pursuing as there are other areas to succeed in. A life that is not moving forward can't grow. Have a MOVE ON MINDSET. If there are failures in any area in your life, it's a pointer that either your strategies aren't good enough or it isn't time for you to succeed in that area yet. Often time, we mistake public property especially as it relates to government property as "their property" and so our attitudes toward them is that of "I don't care" or destruction. Unfortunately, the so called their property is actually our ( you inclusive) property. Lack of ownership to these infrastructures in the hands of our managers (the government) has made us care less about them and so has been destroyed. The next time you see a broken tap, a vandalised infrastructure and others, know that it is your failure and my failure to secure and maintain them that has led to those. Hello guys, something interesting happened today in my side of town and I thought to share with you guys. In the afternoon between the hours of 3pm and 4pm, some minutes after i had got back from town and was inside the room. I had a woman screaming fire! fire!! Alarmed by her shouting, I rushed out and alas it's a house that's on fire. The cause might be an electrical fault and unfortunately the occupants of that house were not around. Thank goodness good neighbours that were around and alarmed by the woman's shout came out and through collective efforts the fire was put out. Some things that stood out for me during the incident was that I saw people donating water, detergents and others all with one goal in mind, which is to put out the fire, not minding which tribe the owner of the house is from among other considerations.
