Be You
No matter how good a photocopied material is it cannot be as authentic as the original when subjected to forensic examination. No matter how much you mimic or try to be like someone, you cannot be that person. Why trying to be like someone else when you can be your original you.
Now do not get it twisted, we all have persons we aspire to be like in life because they represent where or who we desire to be or become, but we should not work towards becoming exactly like them but our own unique self.
Inasmuch as we have role models, we should only copy the qualities or principles that took them there and imbibe them. Do not try to be exactly like them, because it will only make you be a photocopy of them and not the original you.
We are not permitted or created to be a copy of another person but us. The Creator in His plans created us for a purpose and that purpose is unique to us alone and so living to become someone else is deviating from His plan and making us live below standard. have you wondered why we have fingerprints unique to us? It is because we are created to be us and non other. Instead of exerting energy trying to be another person, channel those energies to becoming You.
The reason why some persons are frustrated in life is because they are trying so hard to be others other than be who they are meant to be. For others, they have recorded some level of success in their bid to copy others, but guess what, you can actually be more successful if you be yourself.
I dare you today to look inwards and find out what the Creator wants you to become and strive to become it, for in doing so lies your happiness and fulfillment in life.
A person with a limitless mind will not want to be a photocopy but an original.
BE YOU.
